Within A Mother's Arms provides

In-home Lactation Consultations: Fee for service.  Consults includes brief assessment of infant/mother, instruction of proper positioning and latch as well as evaluation of milk transfer through pre and post feeding weighing.  A written report is faxed to the pediatrician per request and a plan of care is developed with the family.  Consults last approximately 1-1 1/2 hours and include a free follow-up weight check.  $100.00

Newborn Care Assistance:  Parents can get a peaceful night's sleep while having peace of mind, knowing that their newborn is being cared for by an experienced mom/baby nurse and mother.  When it comes to breastfeeding, get off to a great start by having an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant at your disposal for 2-3 feedings a night.  And while you sleep, you can choose to have light laundry duties completed and have meals prepared for the next day so that you can focus on taking care of yourself and your newborn during the day.
